Main purpose:

The main purpose of this role is Inventory Management to ensure that digital stock balance with physical stock.

Experience:

  • 5 years stores experience
  • 3 years Automotive manufacturing environment
  • Supervisor experience

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Critical)
  • Stores certificate (advantage)

Job objectives:

  • Inventory Management
  1. Analyse stock information for all Stores warehouses to ensure transactions is always up to date and System information is correct
  2. Always ensure accuracy of the stock report. 
  • Stores rework of parts
  1. Oversee rework of parts done by stores
  2. Ensure parts are reworked timeously
  • Equipment Calibration
  1. Arranging calibration of stores equipment as and when required
  2. Keep record of calibration of stores equipment
  • Forklift Maintenance
  1. Key contact between company and supplier regarding maintenance of all forklifts
  2. Ensure that any reported issues with forklifts is escalated to supplier and repaired timeously
  • Expediting
  1. Ensure that Supplier collections is arranged to support operational requirements
  2. Ensure that the scheduled deliveries information to the company is up to date and available
  3. Ensure that call-offs to suppliers are submitted in time
  4. Ensure that supplier returns are done timeously 
  • Data capturing
  1. Ensure that Reports are compiled and submitted timeously
  2. Ensure that the RDS app is always up to date
  3. Ensure that timesheets are managed in Beyond Attendance platform and submitted to HR timeously
  4. Ensure that Asakai board is updated before each meeting
  5. Ensure that all Stores documents is filed in a timely manner and the files clearly identified. 
  • Stocktakes
  1. Coordinate and lead scheduled stocktakes according to stocktake procedures
  • Leadership
  1. Oversee the Expeditor and Data Capturer rolls in Stores
  2. Stand in for Receiving Manager as and when required

  • Ramsay Purchasing department
  • Support structures

Job Specification

Technical skills and specialist knowledge:

  • Intermediate computer skills (including Office Excel and Outlook)
