  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Critical)

Job objectives:

FG Gate Control

  • Record all bins delivered to the WIP Staging Area.
  • Transact all bins delivered to the WIP Staging Area (Syspro/RIMS)
  • Ensure Kanban / Blue Card is present and Operator and QC stamp are present on each delivered bin.
  • Ensure the WIP Staging area is adequately managed and does not overflow.
  • Ensure strict access to the FG area via the FG Stores Gate.
  • Ensure Line Feeders are notified when more goods are ready to be processed.
  • Record and escalate any deviations in FG receipting process.

Incoming FG Stock Accuracy

  • Ensure incoming stock figures are correct.
  • Ensure Incoming stock is correctly labelled.
  • Do Quick cycle counts of received goods from production when necessary.

5S

  • Ensure excess pallets from decanting are released from FG area.
  • Assist with general cleanliness of work area.
  • Assist with incoming stock levelling in FG (filling up pallets to correct height)

Internal matrix customers:

  • All Ramsay Members including Management.

External Customers:

  • Toyota

Internal Customers:

  • FG Stock controller

Job Specification

Technical skills and specialist knowledge:
